Museveni: Bashir has to pay me a “fine” and attend these clothes for this reason

Khartoum, August, 6, 2018 – Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has asked Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir to pay a fine, as in Ugandan tradition, for Bashir’s insistence on his presence in Khartoum, although he is not dressed as president.

Museveni said at the beginning of his address to the signing ceremony of peace in southern Sudan in Khartoum on Monday that he was with the farmers in his village “could not adjust his agenda to come to Khartoum, sent a representative, but Bashir refused to insist on his presence, which made him travel directly from the village to Khartoum”.

“I came from the farm in the way I am,” he said. “Do not think I’m a civilized or backward person.”

He congratulated Museveni, Bashir and the opposition parties on signing the agreement.

The Ugandan President spoke after a number of presidents and representatives of regional and international bodies on the occasion of signing the agreement.
